- Coached high school baseball for eleven years in
Richmond and Chesterfield County.

- Coached high school girl's softball for seven
years in Chesterfield County, Hanover County and a local private school.

- Coached St. Gertrude High School in 2001 to an
Independent League Championship and a berth in the state Private Schools
Tournament.

- Coached Little League Softball for Huguenot
Little League (District 5), and won three consecutive District 5
Championships.
|
- Also coached many years of girls / boys middle
school basketball, as well as several years of coaching little league
baseball and basketball.
|
- 1972 B.S. Degree in History from Virginia
Commonwealth University. Also received advanced degrees (M.Ed) in
Guidance Counseling and School Administration.

- Have served s a teacher / guidance counselor
(coordinator) for Richmond Public Schools for the pst 32 years.
|
- Began teaching hitting, fielding and throwing
lessons at Batter Up Baseball / Softball Training Center in January
2000.

- Currently, will teach batting lessons at Rita
Lynn's new facility in Hanover County.
|
- Have coached Summer softball (travel ball) for
the past 10 years.
|
- Have coached Sports Plus 14U, 16U and presently
coaching the 18U team.
|
- Have coached 18U for the past six years.
|
- Have conducted numerous fielding and hitting
clinics in Virginia.
|
- Consistently evaluate the top hitting coaches in
the country.
|
- Hitting is my passion
